Eliot Norman, pianist and Mary Langston, soprano, will explore the spiritual side of Rachmaninoff that is the foundation of so much of his music's melancholy, fatalism and beauty.  Of his Vocalise (song without words)  that will end our program, he said that it "expresses all the emotions of another universe, so words have nothing to add."
